DESCRIPTION
MC12FF500F-F is a multilayer mica RF capacitor designed for high-frequency, high-power applications requiring high voltage performance. This 500 pF capacitor is rated for 1000 Vdc operation and housed in a 1210 case package, offering rugged construction compatible with FR4 boards without thermal cracking concerns. The device features extremely high Q at UHF/VHF frequencies with low ESR characteristics, natural mica dielectric that retains high-Q performance to many megahertz, and wave solderability for reliable PCB assembly. With a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and high RF current capability (dV/dt of 20,000 V/µs), this capacitor is ideal for MRI coils, RF instruments, power amplifiers, tuned LCR circuits, and other demanding RF applications where superior performance and reliability are essential.
