DESCRIPTION

The SCRN236R-F is a film-paper/extended foil commutating capacitor intended for SCR (silicon controlled rectifier) applications. It features a capacitance of 5 µF with a ±10% tolerance and a peak voltage rating of 1000 Vpk. This capacitor is capable of handling a maximum RMS current of 60 A and has a maximum VA rating of 1785 at 65°C. With an operating temperature range of –40 ºC to +80 ºC and a life expectancy of 40,000 hours, it ensures reliability in demanding environments. Housed in a 'B' code metal case, it is ideal for high-frequency and pulsed applications requiring high current and voltage capability.
