DESCRIPTION

E1016-1728 is an orange female insulated single pole Cam-Lok receptacle designed for reliable industrial power connectivity. This J-Series receptacle features double set screw termination and is rated for 600 volts and 400 amps, with a watertight elastomeric TPE body that is color-coded orange for easy phase identification. The unit provides high pressure contact approaching 600 lbs. per sq. in. with only 1/3 of a turn, ensuring minimum resistance and self-compensating wear characteristics. Recessed contacts are protected by an insulating jacket that extends beyond contact ends for safety, and receptacles are safety insulated for direct mounting to steel panels. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems.
