DESCRIPTION
SG4 is a low cost magnetic component from the Standard Geometries series, designed for custom inductor and transformer specifications. It utilizes an EFD 17 ferrite core with a minimum core area of 0.1960 cm², magnetic path length of 4.12 cm, and core volume of 0.940 cm³. The component features multiple AL values ranging from 47 nH/T² to 1028 nH/T² for various gap configurations, with an average turn length of 3.2202 cm and usable winding area of 0.1051 cm². Operating within a storage temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, it meets UL 94V-0 flammability standards. Common applications include flyback transformers, buck/boost inductors, and various power conversion circuits in the 1W to 120W power range at frequencies from 20kHz to 0.5MHz.
