DESCRIPTION
The 204-2ST is a surface mount multi-functional DIP switch featuring 2 switch positions with single pole (SPST) circuitry. It incorporates an integral terminal and contact molded into a thermoset base that provides electrostatic discharge protection rated to 22 kV, with an optimized gold-plated contact design incorporating a dimple wiping interface for long-term contact corrosion resistance. The switch offers a coplanarity of 0.1 mm maximum, enclosed actuators that shield contacts from foreign particles, and optional top tape seal for board spray washing. With a contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance of 100 megohms at end of life, and an actuation life of 5,000 cycles at 50 mA @ 24 VDC, this switch is well-suited for applications requiring reliable switching in compact surface mount configurations.
