DESCRIPTION
The DAR72405FU is a UL-approved, normally open high-voltage relay from the DA(UL) series designed for high-reliability applications requiring high isolation voltages. This relay features a 5kV isolation voltage across contacts with rhodium contact material, providing low contact resistance of 50 mO (typical 15 mO). The relay operates with a 24V DC coil, requiring a must-operate voltage of 20V and a must-release voltage of 4V, with operate and release times of 3.0 ms and 2.0 ms respectively when a diode is fitted. It is configured for PCB mounting with flying lead HV connection using UL3239 22AWG cable rated for 20kV. The relay can switch a maximum of 3A at up to 3500V DC or AC peak, with a maximum switching power of 50W, making it suitable for cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, and high-voltage power supplies where high isolation and reliability are critical.
