DESCRIPTION
The DAR72410F-HR is a high-voltage reed relay designed for demanding applications requiring exceptional isolation and low leakage current. This 10 kV isolation relay features tungsten contacts with a maximum switching voltage of 5000 V DC or AC peak and a maximum switching current of 2 A, making it suitable for high-reliability applications such as cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, and high-voltage power supplies. The relay offers a minimum insulation resistance of 1×106 O and operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, with a contact resistance of 250 mO (typical 100 mO). It is equipped with flying lead connections using UL3239 22 AWG cable rated for 20 kV, and provides a lifetime operation of 106 cycles in dry switching conditions. The high insulation resistance version ensures minimal leakage losses, making it ideal for sensitive test and measurement circuits.
