DESCRIPTION
The DAR72410S is a UL-approved, normally open high-voltage reed relay designed for high-reliability applications requiring very high isolation voltages. This relay features a 10kV isolation rating across contacts with a 24V DC coil, achieving low contact resistance through rhodium or tungsten contact options. The relay operates with a must-operate voltage of 20V DC and a must-release voltage of 4V DC, with operate and release times of 3.0 ms and 2.0 ms respectively (with diode fitted). It supports a maximum switching power of 50W, maximum switching voltage of 7000V (tungsten contacts), and maximum switching current of 2A, making it suitable for cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, and high-voltage power supplies. The relay is available in multiple mounting configurations including PCB mount, panel mount, and spade terminal options, with connection choices for high-voltage leads via flying leads, solder turret, or 0.25" spade terminals.
