DESCRIPTION
521-9459F is a red/green bi-color LED designed for dual-color indicator applications. The device features GaAsP/GaP red and GaP green LED dies mounted in a white diffused lens package with a 60° viewing angle. Operating at 20 mA forward current, the red LED produces a peak wavelength of 635 nm with luminous intensity of 2.5 mcd (at 10 mA) and 4.7 mcd (at 20 mA), while the green LED operates at 565 nm peak wavelength with 3.7 mcd (at 10 mA) and 10 mcd (at 20 mA). The forward voltage for red is 2.0–2.8 V and for green is 2.1–2.8 V at 20 mA. This RoHS-compliant component is suitable for status indication, control panels, and visual feedback systems where dual-color signaling is required.
