DESCRIPTION
The 596-2525-013F is an orange LED assembly featuring a 1.6mm silicone dome lens with bi-level prism design, optimized for low-current 2mA operation. This surface-mount component delivers a luminous intensity of 5.5 mcd (typical) at 10mA, with a dominant wavelength range of 600–609nm and a viewing angle of 30 degrees at 50% intensity. The LED exhibits a forward voltage of 1.7–2.2V at 2mA and a reverse current of 10µA at 12V, with thermal resistance of +280°C/W. The assembly is supplied on a 13-inch reel with 500 pieces per reel (MSL 3), featuring front and rear terminal coplanarity within 0.005 inches, and is designed for RoHS-compliant reflow soldering with recommended peak temperature of 245°C. This low-current LED is ideal for indicator applications, status displays, and battery-powered devices where power efficiency and compact form factor are essential.
