DESCRIPTION
R4500600321 is a heavy-duty incremental encoder ring kit designed for NEMA 4-1/2" C-face motors, featuring a thin 5/8" profile that saves valuable space. The encoder provides 60 PPR (pulses per revolution) resolution with optional 120 PPR output, supporting single-channel unidirectional (A) or dual-channel quadrature (AB) output formats with 90° ± 45° electrical phasing. It operates over an input power range of 4.5 to 26 VDC (depending on output configuration) with a maximum frequency response of 10 kHz, and includes electrical protection against overvoltage and reverse voltage to 30 VDC. The unit features a cast aluminum housing with chromate finish, 1010 steel gear, and supports motor shaft sizes of 5/8" and 7/8" nominal, with a maximum shaft speed of 5,000 RPM.
