DESCRIPTION
The KAS2108E is an 8-position DIP switch designed for reliable configuration and control applications in electronic systems. It features gold-plated contacts with an initial contact resistance of 50 mO typical at 2–4 VDC and 100 mA, providing low-loss signal transmission. The switch is rated for 25 mA at 24 VDC switching and 100 mA at 50 VDC carry current, with an operating life of 2,000 cycles per circuit and an operating force of 1,000 gf maximum. It maintains insulation resistance of 100 MO minimum at 500 VDC and dielectric strength of 500 V RMS at sea level, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The KAS2108E is ideal for industrial control panels, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics where configuration flexibility and long-term reliability are required.
