DESCRIPTION

0402ESDA-MLP8 is a surface mount ESD suppressor designed to provide electrostatic discharge protection for high-speed data applications. It features ultra-low capacitance of 0.05 pF typical (0.15 pF max) and fast response time of less than 1 ns, enabling equipment to pass IEC 61000-4-2 level 4 testing. The device offers a rated voltage of 30 VDC maximum, clamping voltage of 36 V typical, and trigger voltage of 300 V typical. With ESD capability of 8 kV direct discharge and 15 kV air discharge, along with an operating temperature range of -50°C to +125°C, this single-line bi-directional device is ideal for protecting mobile phones, tablets, game consoles, HDTVs, and other consumer electronics from ESD damage.
