DESCRIPTION
D5G0205N-R is a non-shorting rotary switch from the D5 Series designed for economical single-section switching applications. It features 2 active poles with 5 positions per section, utilizing glass epoxy insulation and staked construction with rear PCB terminals. The switch is rated for 1.5 amps @ 28 VDC (make and break resistive load) with a current carrying capacity of 9 amps, dielectric strength of 1,500 VAC, and contact resistance averaging 3.5 milliohms. It incorporates a formed spring index with hill and valley design, positive 30° indexing angles, fixed stops with 25 in. lbs. minimum stop strength, and an index life of 25,000 cycles minimum. All components utilize non-corrosive materials as standard, with brass clips and rotors featuring silver plating. This switch is ideal for control panels, instrumentation, and industrial equipment requiring reliable, economical multi-position switching with low contact resistance and high insulation integrity.
