The EN93 is an Energizer MAX alkaline C-size battery designed for reliable power delivery in consumer electronics and portable devices. It features a nominal voltage of 1.5 volts with a zinc-manganese dioxide chemical system and internal resistance of 150 to 300 milliohms when fresh. The battery operates reliably across a temperature range of -18°C to 55°C and delivers capacity up to 10,000 mAh depending on discharge rate, with typical weight of 66.2 grams and volume of 26.9 cubic centimeters. With a 10-year shelf life at 21°C and flat contact terminal design, the EN93 is well-suited for lighting fixtures, toys, portable audio devices, and other applications requiring sustained power output. The alkaline chemistry contains no added mercury or cadmium, meeting environmental standards while providing consistent performance across various discharge profiles.
