DESCRIPTION
The Eveready 1209 is a 6V Super Heavy Duty battery utilizing a Zinc-Manganese Dioxide (Zn/MnO2) chemical system. It provides a nominal voltage of 6.0 volts and has an average capacity of 11 Ah when rated at a 25mA continuous discharge at 21°C. The battery is constructed with four 'F' size cells in series, features coil spring terminals, and is enclosed in a durable plastic jacket. Designed to operate reliably across a temperature range of -18°C to 55°C, it is well-suited for various demanding conditions. Common applications include portable lighting, barricade flashers, and other steady-burn or intermittent lighting systems.
