DESCRIPTION
The 461895 is a combination contact and photo tachometer that provides both contact and non-contact RPM measurement capabilities. It features a large 0.4" (5 digit) LCD display with a unique reversing character display depending on measurement mode, microprocessor-based design with quartz crystal oscillator for high accuracy, and tachometer memory that stores last, max, and min readings. The device offers photo mode RPM range of 5 to 99,999 and contact mode RPM range of 0.5 to 20,000, with accuracy of 0.05% and resolution of 0.1 rpm below 1,000 rpm. It also provides linear surface speed measurements in contact mode from 0.2 to 6560 ft/min (0.05 to 1999.9 m/min). The 461895 is ideal for maintenance technicians, engineers, and quality control professionals who need reliable, portable RPM and surface speed measurements in industrial and laboratory environments.
