DESCRIPTION

The EZ-240-TM-X is a TNC male connector designed for LMR-240 cable applications with a captivated contact pin (EZ design) and crimp ferrule assembly. It features a 50O impedance with a frequency range of 0–6 GHz, supporting a voltage rating of 500V (rms) and dielectric withstanding voltage of 750V. The connector exhibits excellent electrical performance with center contact resistance less than 3 mO, outer contact resistance less than 2 mO, and VSWR of 1.25 MAX across the operating frequency range. Mechanically, it provides a center contact retention force of 6 lbs minimum, coupling torque of 20 lbf-in minimum, and durability exceeding 500 cycles. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +155°C and is constructed from brass body with phosphor bronze contact pin plated with gold, making it suitable for demanding RF and microwave applications requiring robust, repeatable connections.
