DESCRIPTION
FMAD1028 is a 2.92mm male to 2.4mm female RF adapter designed to enable connections between incompatible connector types in microwave and millimeter-wave applications. The adapter operates across a frequency range from DC to 40 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.25:1 and insertion loss of 0.32 dB, ensuring excellent signal integrity. The device features a passivated stainless steel body with gold over nickel plated beryllium copper contacts, providing durability and corrosion resistance across an operating temperature range of -65°C to +150°C. With 500 mating cycles rated for each connector and a compact form factor (0.784 in length, 5.9 g weight), the FMAD1028 is ideal for test equipment, general-purpose RF interconnections, and connector-saver applications where frequent connect/disconnect cycles occur on expensive equipment.
