DESCRIPTION
The GV141CAB is a 400+ amp 100 VDC contactor from the GV14 Series, designed for demanding switching applications in hazardous environments. It features a hermetically sealed design meeting UL1604 for Class I & II Division 2 and Class III hazardous locations, IP67 rating for temporary water immersion, and SAE J1171 external ignition protection. The contactor offers multiple mounting options (upright, side, or PCB mount), built-in coil suppression for all DC coils, stainless steel hardware with brass mounting inserts for corrosion resistance, and position-insensitive installation flexibility. With 1,000,000 mechanical life cycles, maximum contact resistance of 0.4 mO, and operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, it is ideal for marine, industrial, and renewable energy applications requiring reliable high-current switching in corrosive or explosive environments.
