DESCRIPTION
The GX12TAB is a 225+ ampere, 12–800 Vdc hermetically sealed DC contactor designed for demanding applications requiring high reliability and environmental protection. It features a rugged EP10 seal rated to 175°C, internal delta coil suppression for all DC coils, and stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance. The contactor meets UL1604 for hazardous locations (Class I & II, Div 2 and Class III), IP67 for temporary water immersion, IP69K for pressure washing, and SAE J1171 for external ignition protection. With a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, contact resistance of 0.15–0.3 mO typical, and operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, it delivers consistent performance in harsh environments. The GX12TAB is ideal for battery-powered systems, renewable energy applications, and aerospace programs where low coil power consumption, hermetic sealing, and fire-resistant design are essential.
