DESCRIPTION
The 50J1066 is a single-deck rotary switch manufactured by Grayhill, designed for compact panel-mount applications requiring reliable contact switching. It features a 0.5" (12.7 mm) diameter with a 0.698" behind-panel depth, rated for 200 mA continuous current, and offers multiple angle-of-throw options including 22.5°, 30°, 36°, 45°, 60°, and 90° configurations. The switch supports up to 4 poles on a single deck with up to 16 positions per switch, available with either PC mount or solder lug termination styles. Key design features include positive shaft grounding for EMI/RFI shielding, optional complete seal for PC board assembly and cleaning, and a choice of standard 1/8" shaft, screwdriver slot shaft, or metric 4mm shaft options. The 50J1066 is commonly used in industrial control panels, test equipment, and instrumentation where space-constrained, reliable multi-position switching is required.
