DESCRIPTION
1550GSGASKET is an IP 67-rated gasket upgrade kit designed for Hammond diecast aluminum enclosures, specifically compatible with 1550WG and 1550WH enclosure models. The kit includes two pre-formed silicon gaskets with self-adhesive backing, providing enhanced sealing performance compared to the standard IP 66 EVA foam gasket included with enclosures. When properly installed with lid screws torqued at 55 cN·m, the gasket achieves IP 67 protection against dust and water ingress. The adhesive backing enables easy installation, allowing enclosures to be machined and/or painted before gasket application. This upgrade is ideal for applications requiring higher ingress protection ratings in harsh environmental conditions.
