DESCRIPTION
The BD2G is a Class 2 energy-limiting small box mount transformer designed for low-voltage applications requiring inherent current limiting without fuses or circuit breakers. It features a 120V AC primary input (RMS) and 24V AC secondary output (RMS) with a maximum secondary current of 0.833 A and a power rating of 20 VA. The transformer is housed in a rugged, low-noise design suitable for indoor use only, with stripped wire input leads on the primary side and screw terminal/quick fit tab terminal output on the secondary side. It includes nipple locknut mount for box installation with locknut and mounting bracket, and is UL listed (E184371) and CSA certified (209651). Common applications include chimes, doorbells, security systems, decorative lighting, furnaces, humidifiers, appliances, vending machines, and intercom systems.
