DESCRIPTION
The M80-8820342 is a double-row rectangular connector from the M80 series designed for mixed signal and power interconnection in industrial and aerospace applications. This connector features crimp-type termination with support for multiple wire gauges (AWG 28–32 for signal contacts, AWG 10–20 for power contacts) and accommodates both coaxial and standard power contacts. The connector supports coaxial contacts with 50 O impedance up to 6 GHz frequency range, operating voltage of 180 V AC at 500 mA, and maximum voltage of 1000 V AC rms, while power contacts are rated for 20 A (M80-3XX) or 40 A (M80-PXX) at 800 V DC or AC peak. Mechanical characteristics include 500 operations durability, insertion force up to 15 N (for M80-PXX contacts), withdrawal force minimum 0.5 N, and contact wipe of 1.30 mm minimum. This connector is commonly used in high-reliability applications requiring mixed-signal and power distribution with robust mechanical and electrical performance.
