DESCRIPTION
The 0022 R 29 Pliers are a specialized hand tool designed for assembling Heyco Original Strain Relief Bushings onto wires and cables. Shipped pre-set for a 1/4" (6.4 mm) opening, these pliers feature a movable handle, movable jaw, jaw handle, pivot screw, nut, and spring assembly that work together to grip and position strain relief bushings. The jaw opening is adjustable to accommodate different bushing sizes by removing the nut and spring, repositioning the movable jaw, and reassembling the components. The pliers are used by positioning the bushing on the wire, squeezing the pliers to compress the bushing, and pushing it into the Double D mounting hole for secure installation. These pliers are the standard assembly tool for the majority of Heyco Original Strain Relief Bushings, making them essential for cable and connector assembly operations.
