DESCRIPTION

The HBLDS6AC is a 60A non-metallic unfused disconnect switch with one pre-installed HBLAC1 auxiliary contact, designed for use in harsh industrial and food processing environments. The device features permanent laser-marked labelless ratings, IP69k and Type 4X,12 water ingress protection, and is molded from corrosion and impact-resistant UV-stabilized material. It is NSF-certified for hygiene in food processing applications and carries a short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of 65 kA when protected by Class J fuses. The highly visible red handle meets OSHA lockout/tagout (LO/TO) requirements, and the cover cannot be removed when the switch is in the "On" position. This disconnect switch is ideal for applications requiring frequent washdown, exposure to hot and high-pressure water, caustic cleaning agents, and UV light, making it suitable for food processing, chemical plants, and other demanding industrial settings.
