DESCRIPTION
The XN4E-BL402MR is a non-illuminated padlock-type emergency stop switch featuring a 44mm mushroom operator head and 2NC (2 normally closed) main contacts. This device incorporates IDEC's safe break action mechanism to ensure contacts remain open when the contact block is detached, along with a safety-lock mechanism compliant with IEC60947-5-5 and a 2-in-1 push-to-lock/turn-to-reset operation. The switch operates at 24V AC/DC ±10% with a 15mA current draw, offers IP65 degree of protection at the operator, and maintains a compact panel depth of 61.4mm. It is rated for -25°C to +60°C operating temperature, 45–85% RH humidity, and features a contact resistance of 50mO maximum, 100MO minimum insulation resistance, and mechanical life of 250,000 operations minimum. The XN4E-BL402MR is ideal for industrial machinery, emergency shutdown systems, and safety-critical control applications where reliable latching and padlock capability are essential.
