DESCRIPTION
030-2493-001 is a crimp contact receptacle (flat type) designed for use with ITT Cannon DL series ZIF connectors. This contact features a 50µ inch gold over nickel finish in the mating area, constructed from copper alloy material, and accommodates 18 through 20 AWG wire sizes. The 50µ inch gold BUMP to FLAT contact design is recommended for all applications and offers the broadest amperage range from micro-amps to 5 amps, making it mandatory for low current applications below 100 milliamps. The flat contact is installed in the receptacle side and mates with the bump contact in the plug, increasing contact force and ensuring reliable current carrying at the wiping point. This contact is ideal for modern applications combining power and low voltage signals in one connector.
