DESCRIPTION
030-8586-000 is a pin contact for electrical connectors featuring a reduced termination diameter design. It accommodates wire sizes of 0.3–0.6 mm² (AWG 22/20) and is available with standard A36 finish (5 µm silver plated and passivated) or optional A176 finish (2 µm nickel plated with minimum 0.5 µm gold plating). The contact features a d0 diameter of 1.6 mm, d4 of 1.75 mm, and d8 of 1.75 mm with a tolerance of +0.08 mm, along with a d10 dimension of 2.75 mm (±0.05 mm). The contact is color-coded red for easy identification and is commonly used in high-reliability connector applications requiring precise electrical and mechanical performance in aerospace, military, and industrial equipment.
