DESCRIPTION
045703-0004 is a circular connector socket featuring a straight plug shell style with grommet seal and strain relief endbell. It accommodates 8 contacts in a 12-8 arrangement with size 20 solder cup contacts, utilizing copper alloy contact material with selective gold plating on contact areas and tin body plating. The connector is constructed from aluminium alloy shell with olive drab chromate over cadmium plating, polychloroprene insulator and grommet material, and operates reliably across -55°C to +125°C with an insulator resistance of =5000 MO and test voltage rating of 1500 Vrms. This connector is rated for 7.5 A at AWG20 contact size, supports 500 minimum mating cycles, and achieves IP67 sealing per DIN 40 050, making it ideal for military, aerospace, and battery applications requiring robust environmental protection and reliable signal transmission.
