The 449-2065-000 is a VEAM CIR Series circular connector designed for reliable interconnect solutions in industrial applications. This connector supports multiple insert arrangements with contact sizes ranging from 0 to 20 AWG (DIN 10 to 100), accommodating various service ratings from A to E for different voltage and current requirements. The connector features nickel-plated wire contacts and is engineered with dielectric strength specifications meeting MIL-DTL-5015 standards, with test voltages ranging from 1.0 kV to 7.0 kV depending on service rating. The connector provides excellent shielding characteristics with attenuation performance across the frequency spectrum from 0.01 MHz to 100 MHz. Recommended torque forces for backshell/clamp assembly range from 26–31 in·lb for size 10SL to 130–182 in·lb for size 32, ensuring secure mechanical connections.
