DESCRIPTION
The DBM-5H5P-N-K87 is a Combo D Series D-Subminiature connector offering mixed contact layouts for versatile signal and power distribution. It features a 5H5 contact arrangement with 5 size-8 contacts rated for 40 A maximum current and signal contacts rated for 7.5 A maximum, supporting wire gauges from AWG 8 to 26. The connector is constructed with a steel shell finished in pure tin over nickel, thermoplastic insulator (PCT UL 94V-0), and copper alloy contacts with gold flash finish (Performance Class 3), providing excellent corrosion resistance and reliable electrical performance. With a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level, operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, and 50 mating cycles, this connector is well-suited for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and harsh environment applications requiring robust interconnection.
