DESCRIPTION
The DDMM-36W4P is a Combo D Series D-Subminiature connector offering mixed contact layouts with 32 size 20 contacts and 4 empty size 8 cavities. This connector features a robust design with a steel shell finished in yellow chromate over zinc, and a thermoplastic insulator (PCT UL 94V-0) in black. The contacts are constructed from copper alloy with gold over nickel finish (Performance Class 1) and utilize solder pot termination for reliable connections. Operating across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level, this connector supports signal currents up to 7.5 A with a contact resistance of 10 mO maximum. The connector accommodates wire gauges from AWG 8-26 and is rated for 500 mating cycles, making it suitable for industrial instrumentation, aerospace, and military applications requiring durable, mixed-signal interconnections.
