DESCRIPTION
The KPT00A8-4P is a wall-mounting receptacle connector from ITT Cannon's KPT series of miniature positive bayonet locking connectors designed for high-density signal solutions in harsh environments. This connector features an 8-shell size with 4 contacts in a pin configuration, constructed with an aluminum alloy shell and endbell with thread, no grommet seal. It is designed to MIL-DTL-26482 Series I standards and operates across an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with IP67 environmental sealing in mated condition. The connector withstands vibration stress of 150 m/s² (10 Hz to 2000 Hz) and random vibration up to 500 Hz, with a rated 500 mating cycles. Common applications include industrial instrumentation, off-road vehicles, sensors, factory equipment, and other heavy industry applications requiring reliable interconnection in demanding conditions.
