DESCRIPTION
M83513/01-DC is a microminiature rectangular connector from the MDM (Micro-D Metal Shell) series, designed for high-reliability applications requiring extremely small, lightweight connectors with high-density contact configurations. It features aluminum shells providing EMI/RFI shielding and greater strength, along with a silicone elastomer compression interfacial seal for moisture and humidity protection. The connector offers a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level and 150 VAC at 70,000' altitude, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and operates over a thermal shock range of -55°C to +125°C. It withstands physical shock of 50 G's and vibration of 20 G's (10-2,000 Hz), with durability rated for 500 mating cycles. This connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and industrial applications where rugged, moisture-sealed, high-performance microminiature connectors are required.
