DESCRIPTION
MDM-25PH005K is a Micro-D metal shell connector with 25 pin contacts designed for applications requiring highly reliable, extremely small, and lightweight connectors with high-density contact configurations. It features aluminum shells providing EMI/RFI shielding and greater strength, with size 24 MICROPIN contacts on 0.050" (1.27mm) centers and a silicone elastomer compression interfacial seal for moisture and humidity protection. The connector offers a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, and operates over a thermal shock range of -55°C to +125°C. It withstands 50 G's physical shock and 20 G's vibration, with durability rated for 500 mating cycles. This connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and industrial applications where rugged, moisture-sealed microminiature connectors are required.
