DESCRIPTION
MDM-25PSB-A174 is a Micro-D metal shell connector featuring 25 contacts with 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing and electroless nickel (A174) plating on the shell. The connector employs size 24 MICROPINTM/MICROSOCKETTM contacts and includes a silicone elastomer compression interfacial seal to provide moisture and humidity protection between each contact. The aluminum shell provides greater strength, prevents chipping and cracking, and offers electromagnetic (EMI) and RFI shielding. This connector is designed for applications requiring highly reliable, extremely small, lightweight connectors with high-density contact configurations, such as aerospace, military, and industrial systems where environmental sealing and rugged performance are critical.
