DESCRIPTION
MDM-51SCBRPTL56 is a 51-contact Micro "D" metal shell socket connector designed for high-reliability interconnection applications. The connector features gold-plated copper alloy crimp contacts with a maximum contact resistance of 8 milliohms, condensed right-angle PCB terminations rated for #25 AWG wire, and an aluminum shell with yellow chromate/cadmium over nickel finish. It supports a maximum current rating of 3 A per contact, dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, and insulator resistance exceeding 5000 megohms. The connector is qualified for extreme environmental conditions including thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C, physical shock of 50 G's, vibration up to 20 G's (10-2000 Hz), and 500 mating/unmating cycles. This connector is ideal for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring robust, high-density interconnections with superior environmental performance.
