DESCRIPTION
138-4693-001 is a straight solder plug Type N connector designed for RG405 (.086 OD) semi-rigid cable applications. The connector features a 50-ohm impedance with a frequency range of 0–18 GHz and VSWR of 1.07–0.01F (GHz) maximum at 0–11 GHz, typically less than 1.25 at 11–18 GHz. The body is constructed from brass with gold plating (0.00001 inch minimum) over nickel plating (0.0005 inch minimum) over copper plating (0.00005 inch minimum), while the insulator is made of Teflon and the retention spring is beryllium copper unplated. It supports a working voltage of 335 VRMS maximum at sea level, dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS minimum, and operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 165°C. This connector is ideal for RF/microwave applications requiring reliable, high-frequency signal transmission in aerospace, defense, and telecommunications systems.
