DESCRIPTION
142-0701-411 is an SMA jack assembly connector designed for front or rear mount applications. The assembly features a brass body with gold plating (0.00001 inch minimum over nickel plating), beryllium copper contacts with gold plating (0.00003 inch minimum), and a Teflon insulator. It includes a brass flat washer and brass nut, all with appropriate plating specifications. The connector is rated for mating torque of 7–10 inch-pounds, engage/disengage torque of 2 inch-pounds maximum, and contact retention of 6 lbs minimum axial force with 4 in-oz minimum radial torque. The assembly operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 165°C and meets environmental standards including thermal shock, corrosion resistance, shock, vibration, and moisture resistance per MIL-STD-202. With a minimum durability rating of 500 cycles, this connector is suitable for RF and microwave applications requiring reliable, repeatable connections in demanding environments.
