DESCRIPTION
142-0701-841 is an SMA jack assembly end-launch connector designed for high-frequency RF applications up to 18 GHz with 50-ohm impedance. The connector features a brass body with gold plating over nickel and copper, combined with beryllium copper gold-plated contacts and a Teflon insulator, providing excellent electrical performance and corrosion resistance. Electrical specifications include a working voltage of 335 VRMS maximum at sea level, dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS minimum, insulation resistance of 5000 MO, and contact resistance of 3 milliohms maximum initially. Mechanically, the connector supports a mating torque of 7–10 inch pounds, contact retention of 6 lbs minimum axial force, and 500 cycles minimum durability. Operating temperature range spans -65°C to 165°C, meeting military standards for thermal shock, corrosion, shock, vibration, and moisture resistance. This connector is ideal for aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and precision RF measurement applications requiring reliable high-frequency signal transmission.
