DESCRIPTION
The 142-9701-201 is a straight PC mount non-magnetic SMA jack assembly connector designed for high-frequency RF applications. It features a 50 ohm impedance with a frequency range of DC to 18 GHz and is constructed with a copper body with gold plating (0.00005 inch minimum over 0.00005 inch minimum copper plating), beryllium copper contacts with identical gold plating, and a Teflon insulator. The connector is rated for a maximum working voltage of 335 VRMS at sea level, with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VRMS minimum, an insulation resistance of 5000 megohm minimum, and a corona level of 250 volts minimum at 70,000 feet. Center contact resistance is specified at 3.0 milliohm maximum initially and 4.0 milliohm maximum after environmental testing, while outer conductor resistance is 2.0 milliohm maximum initially.
