The BP6400XI is a transformerless grid-tied inverter from KACO's blueplanet 00xi series, designed for residential solar photovoltaic systems with a maximum continuous output power of 6400 W (CEC rated). It operates with a DC input range of 240 V or 208 V and delivers AC output at 240 V, 208 V, or 220 V with a maximum continuous current of 27 A AC at 240 V and 208 V respectively, achieving 96.5% CEC rated efficiency and 97.2% maximum efficiency at 240 V. The inverter features true convection cooling with an assist fan, integrated ground fault protection with residual current detection, DC reverse polarity protection, and operates across an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +60°C with thermal protection. It includes a backlit LCD display with night switch, easyLink RS485 and SymBus monitoring interfaces, and is housed in a NEMA 3R enclosure measuring 1121 mm (H) × 356 mm (W) × 226 mm (D) with a weight of 43 kg.
