DESCRIPTION

The 24-7050-9703 is a mildly activated rosin cored wire from the Kester 285 series, developed for soldering difficult electronic assemblies where a mildly activated rosin flux is stipulated. Classified as ROLO flux per J-STD-004, it offers superior fluxing ability comparable to fully activated rosins while maintaining low corrosive potential. This solder wire is compatible with a wide range of alloys, with recommended soldering iron tip temperatures of 315-371Â°C for SnPb alloys and 371-427Â°C for lead-free alloys. Post-soldering residues are non-corrosive, non-conductive, and do not require removal in most applications, making this wire ideal for high-reliability electronic manufacturing.
