DESCRIPTION

KMS231GLFS is a microminiature SMT side-actuated tactile switch designed for compact electronic applications requiring reliable momentary switching. It features a 3N (300 grams) operating force with 0.3 mm travel distance, 1.42 mm thickness, and gullwing-type SMT terminals for surface mount assembly. The switch offers excellent tactile feel with 25% minimum tactile feedback, ESD protection through compact design, and positioning pegs for mechanical stability. With an operating life of 100,000 cycles, maximum voltage rating of 32 VDC, and contact resistance of =100 mO, this switch is ideal for mobile phones, medical handheld monitors, consumer electronics, and telecommunication networks where space constraints and reliable tactile feedback are essential.
