DESCRIPTION
KMS231GPWTULCLFS is a microminiature side-actuated tactile switch designed for surface mount technology (SMT) applications. It features a momentary SPST normally open contact arrangement with silver contacts, an actuating force of 2.5 N ±25%, and gullwing terminals for reliable SMT soldering. The switch offers IP40 sealing, a grounded cover for EMC protection, and is compatible with lead-free soldering and infrared reflow processes. With a life expectancy of 100,000 operations, contact resistance of =100 mO, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, this switch provides excellent tactile feel and durability. Common applications include mobile phones, PDAs, medical handheld monitors, and consumer electronics where compact size and reliable performance are essential.
