DESCRIPTION
The MDS6500AL02LS is a micro snap-acting detect switch from the MDS Series designed for mechanical device presence detection in medical, consumer electronics, and ATCA applications. This switch features a snap-acting tactile feel with a small package size and is available in left-bend PCB through-hole termination (LS variant). It operates with a contact rating of 300 mA at 30 VDC, an operating force of 50 g maximum, and a release force of 3 g minimum, providing reliable tactile feedback. The switch maintains contact resistance of 100 mO maximum and supports 30,000 mechanical and electrical operations over an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. Its RoHS-compliant construction with copper alloy silver-plated contacts and PA9T base material makes it suitable for demanding applications requiring compact, durable switching solutions.
