DESCRIPTION

SDS002 is a side actuated detect switch from the SDS Series, designed for detection applications in electronic devices. It features a low profile package that sits just 2mm off the PCB, with 2mm overtravel ideal for detector applications and a low actuation force of 75 grams maximum. The switch has a normally closed (N.C.) configuration with a white housing, silver clad contact plating, and silver plate terminal plating. Key electrical specifications include a contact rating of 100 mA at 12 VDC, contact resistance of 100 mO maximum initial, and insulation resistance of 10 MO minimum at 100 VDC. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with a mechanical and electrical life of 50,000 cycles, this switch is ideal for medical devices, consumer electronics, PCB lock cam detect, smart card detect, and ATCA/MicroTCA applications.
