DESCRIPTION
The 2920L030DR is a surface-mount PolySwitch® resettable PPTC (Polymeric Positive Temperature Coefficient) device designed to provide overcurrent protection for medium-voltage applications up to 60 V. It features a hold current of 0.30 A at 20 °C, a trip current of 0.60 A, and a maximum current rating of 10 A with typical power dissipation of 1.50 W. The device exhibits a minimum resistance of 1.200 O and a maximum thermal constant of 4.800 K, with a maximum trip-to-time current of 1.50 A and a response time of 3.00 seconds. Operating across a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C with a maximum device surface temperature of 125 °C in the tripped state, this component is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. Common applications include IEEE 1394 port protection, powered Ethernet port protection (IEEE 802.3af), automotive electronic control module protection, and low-voltage telecom equipment protection.
